The first domestically produced hydraulic automatic ceramic press (YP600) passed the national scientific and technological achievement technical appraisal and reached the international level, filling the gap in China, and bringing great significance for the localization and modernization of China's complete sets of ceramic wall and floor tile production equipment and the development of new ceramic wall and floor tile products.

Renamed as "Foshan Shiwan Ceramic Machinery Factory"

Based on the Shiwan Hardware and Machinery Repair Factory, "Foshan Local State-owned Shiwan Ceramic Machinery" was established.
